• Dr Nikola Čašule

    FOUNDER

    Nikola has worked for over two decades as an academic, campaigner, strategist, and thought leader in academia and in the civil society sector, helping to secure wins on climate change, conservation and social justice. 

    Prior to founding Campaign Republic, Nikola was a senior campaign strategist with Greenpeace International, where he led Greenpeace’s global natural gas phase out campaign; Head of Research and Investigations at Greenpeace Australia Pacific; and a climate campaigner working on issues ranging from fossil fuel phase out, renewable energy, climate justice in the Pacific, and protecting the Great Barrier Reef from coal and gas.


    Nikola holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford, where he was a lecturer prior to joining the environmental conservation movement. He is the author and editor of numerous research and advocacy reports, including the landmark Ki Mua: Towards and Just Transition for the Pacific; Hero to Zero: Uncovering the Truth of Corporate Australia’s Climate Action Claims; and Te Mana o te Moana: the State of the Climate in the Pacific.

    FOUNDER

    With almost two decades in journalism and PR, Martin is a highly skilled communications strategist with a track record leading campaigns in government, the private and not for profit sectors. 


    Starting his career in media monitoring, Martin moved to Australian Associated Press, where he specialised in business reporting. He has held editorial roles at Nine, led climate communications in the NSW Government, and developed high-profile campaigns for Greenpeace Australia Pacific and Greenpeace International.


    Working closely with leading scientists, technical and policy experts, Martin translates complex issues into compelling stories that shape media narratives and shift public opinion. His ability to navigate both traditional and digital media landscapes make him a trusted advisor for organisations seeking to drive social change and win campaigns that matter.

  • Matisse Walkden-Brown

    COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

    Matisse is a communications professional specialising in change campaigning and impact content. With over 15 years of experience, Matisse supports people to create brands, campaigns, and tell stories, that drive positive real-world change.

    She has worked in mainstream television and radio, as well as led Greenpeace’s efforts in the Pacific, and managed the communications team at a Pacific-focused diplomatic agency. Whether contributing to television commercials, running activist workshops, or drafting thought leadership pieces, Matisse’s focus is always on supporting people to harness the power of their story, to make the world a little better. As a Fiji national, she has a keen interest in the intersection between the Pacific, the climate, and sustainable economic development.

    In 2023, Matisse launched  communications development agency, Good Form Media to supporting clients to build better brands and change campaigns. 

    Good Form Media are the developers of Formmity, a cutting edge communications management suite that lets users design, plan and schedule their entire brand or campaign in one place, in addition to helping users gain clarity, consistency, and strategic thinking in their communications efforts.
